Merhaba!
Bach Flowers entered my life a few years ago, bringing with them their own unique grace and a gentle sense of healing. Since then, I have kept these flower remedies close to me in my everyday life, completed all three levels of training at the Bach Centre in England, founded by
Dr. Edward Bach, and chose to become a Bach Flowers
Practitioner (BFRP) registered with the Bach Foundation.
Along this journey, I have witnessed profound changes and moments of awareness, both in myself and in others whose lives have been touched by the flowers.
I am deeply grateful to be both a practitioner and a lifelong student of a system that, for around 90 years and across more than 60 countries, has supported millions of people in ways that respect their own capacity and willingness to find their way towards wellbeing—without placing the practitioner above the person seeking support.
About me
Throughout my 28-year professional life, music, psychology, philosophy, education, and counselling have come together in many different and creative ways. My work has taken me from children and young people to adults.
I studied Psychology at Boğaziçi University, completed graduate studies in Ethnomusicology at Mimar Sinan University, and pursued graduate studies in Philosophy and Social Thought at İstanbul Bilgi University.
I began my mindfulness practice in 2011 and continued my training through Mindful Schools and Mindfulness Tools programmes in Canada, the Netherlands, and Ireland.
From 2015 to 2022, I was part of the academic team at The School of Life Istanbul, where I taught courses on music, career, and mindfulness, and worked as a career counsellor with young people.
In 2022, I completed the Ecopsychology Intensive at the Viridis Graduate Institute. In the summer of 2025, I completed Permaculture Design Training and Certification with Taner Aksel at his farm in Belentepe. That same year, I also completed training in Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Cultivation.
Music has been there throughout it all. During my years working with children in education, I wrote children’s songs that were released as the albums “Kara” and “Başka Dünya Yok”, with Bülent Ortaçgil as musical director. Later came a period of writing and producing songs for adults, with the release of “Bu Rüzgâr,” “Yer Gök,” “5 Silahşörler,” and “Dağlarca,” along with various singles and EPs. “Şarkılara Mektuplar” was a collective project that grew throughout the pandemic, as letters and melodies turned into songs, creating a kind of musical memory of that time.
Following the 2023 Kahramanmaraş earthquake, I became more deeply involved again in children’s music and psychosocial work. Together with Polen Kolektif, I took part in children, art, and permaculture projects in Hatay.
Alongside making music, I have developed music-based projects and created and facilitated awareness, educational, and event programmes around climate change from an ecopsychological perspective. My children book “Çocuklara Mektuplar,”(Letters to Children) published by Redhouse Kidz in 2024, together with my children’s songs, has given me the chance to return to something I have always loved: spending time with children, through music and words.
I offer Bach Flower consultations both in person and online via Zoom.
